This just in……we have just crossed a threshold in the Ottawa Real Estate Market. Based on the Ottawa Real Estate Board (OREB) March 2017 statistics we are in a Sellers market for residential properties (not condos). It has been some time since we have seen this as early as March. Inventory is not keeping pace with demand, days on market is decreasing and average selling price is increasing. With interest rates continuing at historic lows I don’t expect this trend to change anytime soon. If you would like to put these numbers into context please contact me.
